    Just another reason why usps stinks. Regular first class for a letter size envelope has a limit of 1/4" thickness, otherwise you have to pay extra if the thickness of the envelope is over 1/4". I tried flattening the CC down as flat as I could get it, but in a letter size envelope it still...

    That's what I tried doing yesterday, went to a little bigger coil and also separated the wraps instead of having them touch ... it changed things that were already FANTASTIC into tasting even better if that was possible.

    This is a picture of the 2 lb box that many of us are using, it measures about 9 1/2" square .. it costs around $11 + tax. I have been using mine for a week, have some that I boiled and some that I did not .. doesn't seem to make a difference to me, it's all good.

    People who have been wicking with cotton are use to the cotton expanding and they expect the same to happen with the CC ... but the rayon doesn't expand like cotton does.

    I'm glad my doctor/neighbor pointed that out, about the impurities in the air getting into the raw cotton because I hadn't thought of it. He even went so far as to say "let's say a farmer has a completely natural crop, acres and acres of organically grown cotton (or anything for that matter)...

    Me too Amanda, I also DIY and have never added any sweetener either. I cant imagine why he is getting a sugar taste unless his juice came with a lot of sweetener that he never tasted fully in his other wick?
