I feel there is a 10-12 vape break-in period. The first vape however is excellent, and just keeps getting better for me up to vape 10-12 and then stays at that goodness from there on.

I dont twist it at all, only twist a little point to get it into the coil .. then I "wiggle" it thru the coil, making sure it's rubbing pretty hard against the coil to be thick enough, but not toooo thick .. then I cut my wick ends to about 3/8" each.

You are not the First to say I Don't Like It.
That distinction, I think, goes to me.
I didn't really find a TASTE with it other than it made the juice blend I was using Way To Sweet. So much so I almost got sick and I felt like my mouth was filled with sugar, sticky.
Back to cotton and that sweetness diminished quite a lot with the same juice.
Also I found it produced to much vapor for my liking.

I am going to give another try in a few days but I'm going to use less Rayon than I did the first time. Somewhere around the same amount as cotton or just slightly more.

I'm a former chef by trade and, despite my prior analog addiction, I have very acute tastebuds.

I'm trying less CC now. Vapor has increased but I can still taste it. Perhaps its residual and I should cleanse the pallette. I taste clean wet shirt.

I am determined not to be the first to say I don't like it. I know there is a learning curve. So I will keep on plugging, trying different amounts, atties, coils, juice, whatever and rely on my brethren here for support. [emoji1]

So I received a sample from pmcode today? Thank you.

I wicked a dual coil 26g, 6 wrap, 1.6mm ID cyclone at 0.35 ohms on a BF CYCLONE AFC on a LP Reo Grande.

I can taste the material quite a bit. Perhaps I used too much. Any suggestions?

If you fully prime it, takes a couple times to get it fully saturated. In 3-5 minutes should be good to go.. The breaking we speak of is the wick gets smaller after all the air is expelled from the fibers nooks.

If you actually taste a paper type taste you either have hot spots or legs, or you have in fact managed to use too much, which is pretty hard if you don't hard roll it. The majority of dry type hits anyone will get in this is in fact the coil it's self dry burning not the rayon.

Kinda sounds like you rolled it tight like silica before you fed it in, making it too tight in the coil and /or choking the wicking ability. What I love about it is the fluffiness.

Look at my posts today and te one about stretching the wick. Pull off what looks like 2-3 times the size of your coil do not roll it at all except to lay all the fibers down. Get your tip in start pulling through it Gould get snug.. Stop .. pull the other end of wick to stretch it while applying very light pulling pressure, as it stretches down it will start to slide though that's where you want it.

To me, there is a break in period, but I had no taste from it from the get go..

I would be sure you got Rayon and Not the Cotton blend, since the boxes are easily mistaken..

Since I got a sample from pmcode I am SURE its the right stuff.

Hey Sedge, still waiting on mine to come. Just curious, did you boil yours before wicking?

No boiling. As I have read, the SBS CC needs no boiling. Only the tablet bottle stuff does.

This. Does not have any cottony taste to it. I make a little point after wetting the tip of the cc and start pulling through the coil. When it starts to bunch just grabs both ends of it and stretch it till it goes through. It doesn't break like cotton. You can pull on it to make it thinner and that is how I pack my coil. Then just slide it back and forth to test. You want some movement but not much but more than you would cotton. Stretch it as you pull through and you will get it packed in there. Hope it makes sense.

This is the trick you find out really quick when you get it in hand. It's very malleable to size wile pulling through coil by stretching it just enough to slide through. The stretch.

I always start big and uncompressed. That way as I pull through I can stretch it to bring it down to size *just* till I can pull it through. This is how I get my size and density consistently. No need to guess if you do it this way it just always seems to work out just right.

Also see post 1121 . That is pulled straight off the coil no rolling straight off . Just smooth it lightly to a round size

No Stillare waiting for me when I got home, so I duplicated my macro into duals and rewicked. I feel like those guys on youtube blowing ridiculous cumulonimbus formations across the room. I've been vaping on Rocketfuel Strawberry Fields for the day, after trying it out and while back and shelving it. Gotta say this juice is much better on this setup.

As for feeding the cotton through, Jeremy is spot on. Twist the tip and start it, then pinch and lightly tug on both ends while pulling it through. It will not tear apart like cotton, it just stretches flat enough to get that big wad through.

I am using 1/8th" dual coils. I take a length of that Cellucotton ribbon and tear it in half, split down the middle. Each half goes into a coil.

No... I don't boil anything but my sons pacifiers. Just cut a piece and wick it. From what I understand it shouldn't need it, and I would just be leaving it wide open while drying for bacteria growth

Do you have the pure rayon fiber type?
