^ I had gurgling on my first KFL build......If its gurgling, its flooding. The next build I lowered the coil to 1mm above the air hole....no more gurgling, better flavor.... Could it be the ceramic wick, dunno- I use cotton, absolutely love it. I have no problems laying mine down flat ... -

Sick ! Are you running this on a mech or vv.....those coils look like the ideal placement for ergonomical wicks to hang down in the wetlands....impressive Looks like the air intake is totally open inbetween the 2 coils, I can totally see the hole....would think it'd be airy hit-maybe the heat... -

Another cause of flooding/leaking through the airhole (I found out the hard way) is if you accidentally cover the air hole while taking a hit, it will flood the sh^t out of it, and it will leak for sure. Sometimes you dont even know your covering the hole - I know now when I do it cause I done... -

Awesome looking, but no better result than the mechanical single coil build...? I've been reading in the micro coil thread many of the guys are finding the same results.... How about the high end ceramic wicks, supposedly superior flavor and wicking and a virtually maintenance free (somewhat)... -

CRSS, Does the swollen o ring return to be reusable again, or are they a done deal if they do swell, trash ? Just good info in case this happens in the future...Anybody can list the juices they know that ruin this o ring..? Thanks- -

^thanks My grants vanilla custard came in today, so I'm just gonna throw new clean cotton in to be safe....testing it out on a carto tank before filling the KFL, omg this "GVC" sh$t is fenominal....one tank in the KFL and the rest goes in for a good steep. If it tastes this good on day1... -

Have any of you switched flavors without swapping the cotton on the micro coil setup? I finally got a really nice cotton wick set in there, my first one was good, but wanted a little lower ohms, so i redid the whole setup and this one seems perfect. I just don't want to mess with this perfect... -

Just got mine in....went with the simple shorty. Quality is unsurpassed. I went with SS instead of the titanium to get a perfect color match with my Kafun Lite. Totally impressed, not a scratch on it, perfectly round lines/etc. Fits nice and tight. Gonna order more designs now. Big thanks to...- -SMT-

More experimenting, swapped the stock drip tip out for a short one with a bigger hole. Results - no gurgling, even if I flood it. Makes the KFL shorter over all length, although this thing is tiny already, the pictures make them look huge, but they're small units. Fits better in my pocket. And... -

Ok, tried this, works great now......just finger tips and firing with small finger (pinky)...NO air intake blockage. Doesn't look as cool as palm'n it tho, but it works....Thanks. Finger tip grip....works great, just looks funky, guess I'll get used to it... Really prefer the full grip... -

Thanks Rule62, I followed your build, qorax (and vapedivrs video) since you used 28g kanthal and had great success, all I have at the moment is 28g otherwise I would've used 26 like vapedivr.....worked perfect, thanks man! -

So, my KFL arrived yesterday from Intaste...3 days delivery to hawaii....impressive. They included a bag full of spare seals, extra refill screws (3)...the screwdriver and some other spare screws. Can't believe how easy the micro coil/cotton build is....first attempt did 11/12 wraps 28g on a... -

Anything I need to watch out for running a micro coil/low ohms on a mechanical (I'll be running 350 mode) .......? I read somewhere don't go below 0.8 ohms running 350 battery's in mechanicals.....any others worries..?
