I knew that. It's just that my taste buds won't listen to reason. Other than Oscuro or Maduro wrappers they don't work for me. I even tried buying cigar tobacco full leaves by the pound and that was a disaster. I'm not too disappointed as there's such a wide variety of flavored pipe tobaccos...

I cannot distinguish the separate tobaccos with cigars like I can with pipe tobacco's. Initially I thought cigar extracts would be stronger in tobacco notes than pipe tb. I guess it's my taste buds. I agree with you Mike, in that flavored cigars taste better. I really like the Tatiana lineup...

    Pipe tobacco and Cigar extraction

I'll be looking forward for your Blog KPS257. The one problem you may run into is that no matter which method you say is best, it's still going to be subjective. Extracting a good vape is easy, it's not rocket science. There are sub-forums and threads for all the methods of extracting but I...

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Today I'm vaping McClelland’s #401 Darkest Caramel a black Cavendish, with a brown sugar and caramel note. At 20% that's just what you get. A light vape at 6 mg. nic without a strong throat hit. The Brown Sugar and Caramel is slightly sweet with the Caramel upfront and the strongest note...

Don't believe everything you read. Your VG extract will last at least a year if stored airtight in a dark glass or plastic container, in a room temp dark shelf.

As always Bill, your eloquence makes for superb reviews. Good to know I may look forward to the six month steep mark.

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

It takes 2-3 months for me to go from an ounce of tobacco or a cigar to a steeped ejuice ready to vape. So finally I got around to H&H Freight Train, a mixture that consists of a blend of Red Virginia, dark Burley, dark-fired Kentucky, a bit of unflavored black Cavendish and Perique. Between...

I would highly recommend an Magma clone. I use mine on a Kicked King mech or DNA30. With the Magma 12 mg. should satisfy an 18 mg. user. Another route I recommend is a Kayfun clone. I have several V2.1 ES types and Pyrex tanks. In combination with a high drain battery they are hard to beat. You...

Think I'm done with cigars. After doing 20 that are rated 90 or better only the unrated Tatiana flavored cigars seem flavorful to me. Cigars don't transfer well into ejuice IMHO. Guess I'll stick to pipe tobacco where I'm finding at least 1 out of 5 are ADV. The latest is Corneil & Deahl...

    Pipe tobacco and Cigar extraction

Cigars make a tricky extraction. IMHO to get the most flavor from them you need to use the whole cigar. I slice them lengthwise and distribute the wrapper and tobacco in layers. By which I mean, start at the bottom of the container and add half the wrapper then all the filler tobacco, then top...

Noted and put on my P&C wishlist. Thanks Mike. Try Pennington Gap from C&D. I think you'll like it.

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

You don't have a reference post connected to your question. However, the amount of PG/VG depends on the container and the tobacco. My rule of thumb is to just top off the tobacco. This gives me around 60-80 mls of extract from an ounce of tobacco in an container the size of a 2 oz baby food jar...

Today I'm vaping a new mixed, McClelland Cigar Blends Dominican Glory Maduro. Stoved, red and lemon Virginia's blended with Dominican Maduro leaf. It's an interesting vape. I'm just vaping a taste ( 1.5 mls ) as it was mixed yesterday. Right off the bat I knew I made the mistake of mixing it at...

If you ever saw someone in a hospital with a big scoop half mask, hooked up to a machine that was producing a fine mist, it's an Ultrasonic Nebulizer. These work through ultasound produced with a pz transducer.

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

I always wondered why no ones come up with a mod that's built around a piezoelectric transducer. Probably not cost effective. For those who don't know a pz transducer can be used to turn liquid into a very fine mist. Finer than what we get from coils. Then again it might be too energy inefficient.
