    Re: 12v stack for Ham. I wouldn't be TOO worried about it - the individual batteries will self-equalize. You *do* want to spend the scratch on a GOOD charger/inverter, however. There's literally THOUSANDS of RV'ers that do exactly what you're describing, but with 6v cells instead of 12v...

    VERY aggravating - sometimes I'd get vapor, and sometimes not, but it was COMPLETELY inconsistent. Multimeter checks of the RCA mod were good, I always got solid connecitivy to the center of the battery connector. Turned out, that uneven barrel made it where the atomizer was just BARELY...

    You can drop this in a shirt pocket and you don't have a long, dangling wire. As Stormy said - different strokes for different folks.

    I would like to add that, when you cut the tube of the RCA plug to put your atomizer connection in there...make SURE that your cut is filed square - it makes for less troubleshooting of "why the **** aren't I getting vapor" when your atty can CONSISTENTLY make contact with the center...

    muse - the sweetness will fade over the next day or so - tough it out, and the flavor will come. Re: filling the cart...you want the top of the filling to show moisture but NOT be completely wet....take a bit of practice, but you'll get it.
