    Sorry but no. A variable wattage device allows you to change the wattage on the fly without changing your atomizer or battery. Trying to wedge this in by arguing semantics is just going to confuse things for new people.

    If you did a ribbed ELA, the locking ring would also need to be ribbed, in the same direction. Otherwise the lines would be all wrong.
