I think the one that doesn't fit was a protected ICR battery, and not an IMR. Performance on that one probably isn't very good anyway. The protection circuit on these also adds length to the battery.
I think the 600 mah AW's are where it's at.
I've been a much happier man since I started doubling any time estimates someone gives me, super-t included :)
Wise words someone gave me when I was growing up:
A pessimist is either right, or pleasantly surprised.
So glad the V3 is defaulting to 18500 size. Perfect mix between power, safety and battery life in a compact package. I also think most mods look stumpy in 18350, and too long in 18650. My favorite battery!
Mine's in transit to Super-T still, but I'm in the same boat. Glad I have a few simplicity's to use in the mean time! David did say that they would get any of these fixed ASAP and back out.

I asked about buying a center post last month - there are not any extras available, they are reserved as parts for the remaining ELA orders, unfortunately.
Honestly, in this day and age when mechanical mods are all the rage, $120 is cheap. And for that $120 you'll get a nicer PV, with a lifetime warranty, over just about anything else out there.
My ELA is an older one. I honestly don't remember exactly when I ordered it, but I want to say it was in late February. I'm sure if I send it in, David will get it all sorted out. I wish I had my second one in hand so I wouldn't be ELA-less! I guess I can make due :P
I tried, no luck. I left the o-ring off entirely and it still wouldn't get past the normal point.
I did have some luck with my polished cap, I am able to pretty much fully screw the post into it, but only with the wrench. The satin cap doesn't budge no matter how hard I try. If I had a vice...
