I don't have my polished yet, but I've had other polished super-t devices. I think for now, polished is the way to go if you're trying to put an rba on it, since options are limited for satin rba's unless you get some custom refinishing done. However, for a a disposable 510 atomizer, with adjustable draw cap, I think the satin ELA is a sexy beast.
I think it will really come into its own with a satin flat bottom cap and a satin strata on top of it, in 500 mode. It will be a nice, sturdy, beautiful piece of satin aesthetic deliciousness, and will really be unique looking compared to everything else out there.
Satin doesn't translate well to photos, it's definitely something better experienced in person. I prefer the tactile feel of it as well. Even as resistant to finger prints as the "polished" finish that super-t uses is - I still get some streaking on it after a few days of use. I think I have acidic oils on my fingers, which wreak havoc on polished metals and tarnish up brass something fierce. Humidity in Florida doesn't help either. I never have that problem with satin. I've used it for months on end and it's remained the same as when I received it.
Of course, this is all personal preference. Some people just don't "get" satin, and some do.
I also think the satin knurled locking ring looks fantastic.
