    not ALL attys have the threads so there's no need to remove them in those cases. a moderator did go in and emphasize that THIS IS FOR DRIPPERS and yes you can also remove the bridge completely but its much more difficult to do so than the threads. on another note the threads are there...

    thanks! yeah, if you can get a super small pair of needle-nose tweezers you can work out some of the fused-burnt/melted threads but you risk damaging that coil =P
