    Well, without getting crazy on the math... if you had say 1000mah @ 10V, and you reduced that to 5V, you'd expect ~2000mah, not withstanding that regs do waste SOME energy...

    And the 10440 in a 510 PT is not protected... made me take a look at mine:) After taking it apart you'll find that there's a pcb inside that is overcharge/overdischarge protection:) Now I know for sure not to use THAT one in a mod! LoL

    I must be the luckiest guy alive, I've had two atties die since dec last year, the shortest lifespan was about 48 days... and all my batteries are still groovy, with the exception of one auto but it didn't run out of life, I killed it (flooded)

    36 most of the time... but I mix some tobacco flavs up to 42-50 for when I'm out drinkin. BUT keep in mind I smoked ~2 P.A.D reds or kamel reds, snus(real not camel), smoked cigars, pipe, hookah(still) Needless to say when I first started I vaped 36 out of a 510 and would go through 6 batteries...
