That's fair. Honestly, my problem with the T3 has always been mainly about the flavor production, which is good but not great. The OP wasn't asking about flavor, but about vapor, so my impressions may not be the most useful, as my goals are different. I vapor production isn't terribly important...
You are entirely right. I should have said "A higher resistance head with a smaller ohm number uses smaller wire in the atomizer. Since the wire is smaller, the same amount of voltage makes it hotter."
I still get hung up on a lower number indicating higher resistance sometimes. How...
Turns out there's a reason for that. I pulled all the bridging and wicking out of a couple of my Cisco LR 306s and... They don't work very well. They just don't retain fluid, for obvious reasons.
Now, maybe with a bottom feeder...
Kanger T3s are simple and fairly reliable, but they're only ok for vapor production. The tight wicks simply don't bring juice in quickly enough to have a lot of juice available to vaporize.
That said, you can raise your wattage, which will raise your temperature. To up your wattage, you can...
It feels like vaping is finally taking off in San Francisco!
Who'd be interested in a vapemeet? I've been talking to a few friends and a couple vendors, and we're thinking about putting one on.
Three questions for you:
Would you be interested in attending a vaping event in San Francisco...
I stopped by the other day. Here's their Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Vapor-City/570804859604669
They're at:
1347 Polk Street, San Francisco, CA 94109
Cross street is Sutter
Hours are every day, 11am-6pm.
They also just put up their website:
Welcome to Vapor City...
Are any of the unpunched and unflanged cartos available now XL size? I can't really tell on the site.
I'd love to get some for my Jazz Cartopipe, but it only takes XL length cartos with no flange, and of course a punched carto would leak.
Everyone said that the Provari hits better than the eVic, but I couldn't imagine it was true. It's just delivering voltage, and I wasn't gonna go past 5V anyway. So I ordered the eVic. And it was good.
Then I got a Provari.
What can I say? Subjectively, the Provari does seem to vape better...
My favorite RY4 so far is the plastic bottle with the white label and the little log cabin logo. Anyone know who makes it?
I've been buying from my local B&M but they're out of 12mg.
Thanks for the advice! I managed to track down a hybrid at a launch event down here in LA and was even fortunate enough to have an experienced vaper show me how to set it up.
I'm vaping Pluid from it now, and I've gotta say, this thing kicks. No comparison to the clearos and carto tanks I'd...
I hadn't seen this mentioned yet, so I thought I'd share.
I went in to Vapor Craze / 310 Vapors today hoping to see a hybrid in person and learn a bit about them. Lucky for me, it turns out they were releasing a new one tonight! I just got back from the event with my new baby.
It is a...
Huh! So rather than just controlling something that influences the amount of energy going to the coil you're controlling the quantity of energy more directly, with the mod doing the math? That is pretty cool!
I take it this would correct for switching between different resistance attys?
Is...
On my eVic running firmware 1.2 in VW mode changing the wattage makes the voltage change, and changing the voltage makes the wattage change.
You can see this by holding the wheel "left" until it cycles to the screen that displays ohms and volts in little letters (while it VW mode) or ohms and...
Thanks for all the great advice! What sort of device would I want to run a SLR coil?
I also tracked down the video you mentioned. This one, right? zenesis coil basics - YouTube
