    Got them buffed and carnuba'd today....install some of the guts, but I just remembered I need to buy a new tip for my soldering iron, so no more work until Tues I suppose.

    I bought some Root Beer from PA recently, and this stuff just won't mix....it remains separated now even after a week. Any idea on how to deal with this? I've been shaking it from time to time, submerging in hot water, etc. Nothing seems to work, so hoping to hear some ideas on what might.

    Kinda taking a break right now to clean up the shop and spring cleaning around the place in general. I hope to have enough becote to make a 14500 mod, so be looking for that, as well as the normal 18650 styles. I still have lots of nice curly maple laying around.....

    Thanks! Glad to hear it. I really like those buttons...they are expensive (very $$$, for a button), but I think they are worth it. And having the LED built in is pretty cool.

    Latest box mod, already sold however. The crappy cell phone pic doesn't show it, but the new buffing wheels I have work really well. A nice glossy shine. And for the final piece, a layer of pure carnuba wax to give it more shine and protection. But in the background there is one coming...
