I use an IGO L for a dripper. Quite a bit of my time I sit here in front of the computer. I have a good dozen different juices lined up. I'll 'drip' one, then 'drip' another instead of vaping on a whole tank of one flavor. Sort of like going to a tapas bar...a bite of this, a bite of that if...
Perhaps you are drawing too fast for the juice to get into the coil? Need some time between pulls for the juice to wick. Try taking a couple of pulls, then wait a minute or two to see if that helps..
IGO -L on a Provari. Micro coil (1/16th inch drill bit), 32 gauge Kanthal, cotton. I generally make coils at 1.5 to 1.8 ohms, 3.8 to 4.0 volts. Pop the drip trip, eight drops, and vape away!
I drilled mine out also. Didn't help too much with the Provari. Took an old credit card and cut out a spacer to sit on the tank 510 connector. Allows much better airflow now and the tank now sits tightly. Still like my Vivi Nova 2.5 better but at least the Protank 2 is usable...still have to...
On my Provari the tank comes down too far and doesn't allow air to enter the device. My Protank kit came with two small silicone grommets. I put one on the Protank's 510 connector which raised the device just enough to get airflow and it works fine. May not help you but figured I would throw...
Ex- cigarette smoker. Still smoke the occasional pipe. I wanted to quit the coffin nails after 40 years plus but never had any luck of doing it on my own and was some what skeptical of them new-fangled yuppie electronic things. Nice lady on one of the pipe forums explained some of the...
Started with an 808 cig alike. Moved up to a bigger (mah) cig alike. Call it a hundred bucks for hardware. Got smart and got a Provari setup (Provari, bats, charger, Vivi Nova, some clearos and tanks) call it $300.00. Some DIY juice supplies, another hundred. Rebuildable dripper and tank...
ISO is good for cleaning, just give it a minute or two to evaporate, longer if you are cleaning wicks. It's what the medics use to sterilize your skin when you get a shot. Just don't drink it! But then I've had some 190 proof Everclear, and I wouldn't recommend drinking it either (g)..
Mine is nekkid, with the exception of some abrasive anti-slip adhesive backed stair tread material so I don't test the famous Provari drop invulnerability!
Ex-cig smoker. Also a long time pipe smoker. I would smoke my pipes here at the computer, at least seven bowls day. Now, maybe a bowl a week. People talk about the high cost of vaping, they should try pipes! Just don't have the wish to smoke tobacco anymore it seems..
Micro coils and cotton are the way to go! Pull the old wick, dry burn the coil and replace the cotton. Couple of minutes and you are back in virgin territory! Coils last so long I don't know how long they've been in service!!
The various taxing authorities make more money than all of the tobacco/cigarette producers do combined. Think of everyone from the farmer to the clerk selling them. When I was buying commercially made coffin nails, the Feds would get a dollar, the state would get two dollars plus 18 cents sales...
Read the forums, check out people's recommendations. Then do a search for problems/complaints with that mod. Then do the same for Provari. Make your choice based on what you read.
I get some new to me bottles. Vape them in a dripper. Sort them by taste- OK, maybe later, meh, horrible. OK goes into rotation, maybe and meh go into a box to try again sometime in the future. Horrible has it's own box. Try them again when I'm feeling adventurous. If they don't improve...
A good consistent vape from battery start to battery finish. I don't sub-ohm so the Provari fills my needs quite nicely. Nothing lasts forever but I feel the Provari will last for years. Just bought a second for back up this Christmas. If I buy another PV it will be a REO so I can squonk and...
