Interesting! Was this with the second batch of hard to take apart Stardusts? Obviously not something to do for simple cleaning! Seems like a lot of work for those of us without brass tubing and pipe cutters but may solve the issue for changing the wick/coil on the troublesome Stardusts!

I have two boxes of new fluxos that are just sitting there since I got the Stardusts. I keep eyeing them and think, maybe I'll just take them apart for the wicks.... but that would make some expensive wicking material!

What would be best wick & coil for rewicking some of stardust and fluxos ?

Coil is pretty easy to get. You can get the wire I had on my video (Gotvapes Stardust: Changing the Wick & Coil - YouTube) cheap from eBay--remember to burn it until it gets red and wash it to remove the machine oil! I haven't tried nichrome but trust those who prefer it. Someone says it gives...

Gotvapes Stardust: How to re-wick and replace the coil

Everyone has a different definition of cheap! Changing the wick/coil definitely isn't for everyone. I kind of like doing it as part of the hobby, though totally understand those who don't. But it made me take the plunge and sign up for the Zenesis Z-atty (rebuildable tank), mostly...
