Got the CE9. Hate it. I've never used one of these tip cartridges before (mostly because of the lackluster reviews) and tried a 70/30 pg/vg. It just will not wick. The juice doesn't want to drip onto the coil. (Yes, I made sure it was punctured.) I guess I could try to thin it out more but I'm...
Pshaw! The first thing people say when they see mine on a Twist is ... SONIC SCREWDRIVER!
(Though, granted, that probably says more about the people I hang with....)
Was out of town for 2 weeks and am back. Anyone miss me?
Just saw the Apollos in the Alpha section. I love these!
Assuming these are what other vendors-who-shall-not-be-named sell, here's my impressions (assuming they are second generation).
They are GREAT out-of-the-box, great...
Cool! Though I wonder how sales will be in a few weeks after the "look, pretty colors!" crowd has gotten their tanks.
Is there any way you can carry all colors even if it is a small inventory?
Love the colors but if you are limited, should probably stick with the most popular mod colors: black and silver
I also see a few of white ego Twists around. (I have one myself.)
Red, green and blue look extremely cool but I'd guess not that many people actually have them. Of those three...
If the coil is firing (making a crackling noise), the silicon cap could be pinching the wick--try pulling the silicon cap up slightly and see if it helps. (You just need to take the top off and rock the little cone head/pip to loose it up and pull slightly--no need to take the tank apart!)
Okay, after over a week with the z-atty pro, I've finally found that it depends on the juice (for me). I was having a horrible time with it--about ready to give up. The flavor seemed really pungent and unpleasant (mostly fruit flavors) as well as I felt I was constantly trying to inhale with...
Glad they're making them screw-ins. However, I can't understand why they would change the wick. The thing that made these stand out above other top coils was the performance of the wick. If it ain't broken...
The only thing I would like to see with the Apollo tanks are more robust...
I'm just not acclimating well to the z-atty pro. It could be that it's not my only device. When I go out and about I use the Twist with a top coil tank. Going back to the z-atty I feel like I'm getting nothing but air. I went to the HOH website to check out the 'stiff draw' cap and noticed an...
By SS, I mean stainless steel (wick). Used to referring to it that way on wick threads. I'm pretty sure it's not shorted. It's on a Provari so shouldn't fire if there's a short and the coil lights up red.
Okay, just got my z-atty pro. This is my first time using a SS tank. I'm finding the draw extremely airy and harsh. I'm not sure how to vape it. Slow and easy and long? (Then I end up coughing.) Since it's a new wick, I assume it will break in? Anyone else not like the airy draw? I'm also not...
