    How To Make Drip Tips

What did you use to make the mold? I've got some casting rubber that I use for a lot of different things and it's very stable once it sets up. Some stuff will continue to shrink, so your mold gets bigger. Try this stuff: One-To-One / Rapid Mold Rubber, 32 fl. oz. It's worked out great for me...

The Ms. T order status thread

<sigh> Didn't I say no rush? Didn't I put it right there at the bottom of the order? You could have spent the time you took processing my order and gone out for a walk. Or petted the dog. Or talked to your kids. Or got freaky with hubby. But no, you processed my order. OK, thanks, but still...

    Chest Infections - informal poll

No burst bubbles, you're saying what's true for you. That doesn't mean it's true for someone else.

    "T's Family Chatter"

I was thinking after she went postal and slapped the cop. It would come in so handy when Sour Grapes shows up.

    Walking Dead

I kinda didn't mind that they killed off Dale. He was a lot sanctimonious in that last little speech of his. He's been bugging me for a while. I think this will also be the redemption of biker-boy. He'll pull back into the group and start taking a more active roll. Maybe as Shane goes totally...

Any GLV/Ms T's users than can help me out?

I've got a GLV3 Mini, but I've only used the self-feeder once, to see what it was like. Meh. I'm sure it's a lifesaver for many, but for me it's a I-can-live-without-it thing. I really love the way the GLV Mini fits in my hand, and I've got all the standard compliments about it: the draw is...

    Need a size comparison picture!

I don't have a Roughstack, but I have a micrometer. It's less than 1" thick (0.89 inches) and 4" long, without the extension cap. I don't have huge hands, but it does fit nicely in mine.

    Question about the extension cap!?

    I didn't send that.

    Everlasting juice?

For the juice to get in where it can give you some vapor and flavor, it has to make its way through two little holes in the outside metal sleeve of the carto in the middle. If your juice is very thick - like it has a lot of VG in it - it won't get through those holes very well. You can make the...

    How To Make Drip Tips

Ah - cool - another caster! I've got an old Mercedes convertible that I restored a few years back. One of the (incredibly expensive) options was a windblocker that - for reasons known only to long-retired MB designers - required 2 plastic blocks to sit properly on the car. The windblocker...

    Another satisfied customer!

It almost makes me wish mine would break, so I could send it in and see for myself. Almost. ;)

    Voltage output/readout with meter

OK, I'm not making any sense from your post. The battery, fully charged, will only read 4.2 volts, not 6 volts. The boost circuitry in the ProVari will output 6 volts, no matter what the voltage of the battery is. So the reading changes? Or it doesn't?
  14. ScottinSoCal

    Question about the extension cap!?

You can use them, but you may find your ProVari cutting out and turning itself off. If the battery can't keep up with the power demand, the ProVari will turn itself off. It's a safety feature, as you really don't want to push a battery past the limit. They go boom, and your tongue falls out. In...

    Voltage output/readout with meter

So it does change, but only between battery voltage and 6V? Or it doesn't change and always shows 6V?

    Is there anything more disappointing???

Is there anything more disappointing? Why yes, yes there is. Buying a lottery ticket that you carry around in your wallet for a couple of weeks, then tossing it under the scanner to see if you won anything and having it flash the message "Contact Lottery Authority" instead of telling you...

why are all pipe mods so... old

Um. Because that one costs $2500, and by the time you'd destroyed two prototyping a system, then putting all the electronics in a third, and pricing it enough to compensate for the time and labor you put into it, you wouldn't have a buyer willing to spend $10,000. That's just a guess, though.

On a normal day, what do you carry around with you?

Wow. I knew I was a little OCD, but now I think I should probably go talk to someone about being medicated. I have a case that I found at the auto parts, designed for a 7" navi unit. In it is: 5 spare 18650 batteries spare drip tips 3 5-paks of spare cartos 4 spare 15ml bottles of juice...

Incoming Rant!! Long but I feel better now, lol

Oh yeah, and this - in a nutshell - is why I'd never be successful in customer service. Someone I know used to manage a resort in Santa Barbara. He told me about a guest who stayed 2 weeks, ran up a bill well over $20,000 (yup, 5 zeroes) and on checkout wanted the entire bill comp'd because a...

Incoming Rant!! Long but I feel better now, lol

The most perfect vendor can still wind up with a negative review. The best hardware can break down. The ultimate carto/attie/tank/fill-in-the-blank won't make everyone perfectly blissful. I've been through lots of tanks, and I love the idea, but the plycarbonate ones don't work with my juice...
