I guess I just have really good luck with my DCC's. I buy them from IkenVape and I've washed them out twice now. They're about a month old, still taste good and I have yet for any of my juice to taste burnt or off with them. I vape a lot of coffee and chocolate type flavors with a 60PG/40VG mix...
What you describe isn't that unusual. Some juices taste very different when used with different atties and cartos. When I drip Cinnamon Roll in my 901 atty, the taste really comes through. If I drip it on an 801, the flavor is still good, but not as pronounced. DCC's seem to make the flavor...
I'd have to say that I'm like mist...2.5.
I know quite a bit, but things change quickly in the vaping world. As soon as I think I've got it all down, something comes along and throws everything out the window.
The only constant with vaping is the learning and we're constantly learning. We all...
I'm sorry, ladies! I'm still waiting to hear about the job. I was told that they should come to a decision by the end of the week. This week has been so busy that I've hardly had time to get on the forums! I'm still crossing my fingers, but day-um! That was the toughest interview I've ever had!
Awww...breaktru! I love my Indulgence! I wish I could get a VV, but the money just isn't in the cards for me right now. My Indulgence has been a wonderful, reasonably priced mod and it's working great for me!
I just went through a period where the lure to the cigarettes was strong because of stress. I just upped my nicotine level from 18mg back up to 24mg like when I first started vaping and *BAM*! Cravings were nipped in the bud! I also started using my mods at 5 and 6V more often when I'm at home...
I started out with Riva and eGo batts. My fiance still uses them, but I've moved up to the Chameleon and Indulgence mods. I love them both and vape both at 3.7, 5 and 6V with DCC's, LR and HV 801 and 901 atties. That's my vaping nirvana.
The eGo-T tanks don't require any filler and they wick by allowing the juice to move down on a spike that guides the juice to the wick inside the atomizer. Other tanks use a carto that's been modified in some way, either by cutting off the tube (CE2 MAP Tanks) or punching or cutting a hole in...
I smoked like a freight train and I vape like a humidifier. For me, it's a habit that has turned into a hobby with the addition of DIY in my repertoire. I have adopted a way of life that won't kill me like smoking was. I feel so much better now!
I have noticed that I can go for a few hours...
The eGo-T atomizers don't really wick well with 100% VG because of the thickness. This could be part of the reason for the burnt taste. Most people use a 70PG/30VG mix and this seems to work well. You should also check to see if the tank is seated correctly. I'm sure other people will have more...
Happy right now because I got off the phone with my new manager. We talked about how some things are working (or not working) in our department, and he walked me through how to do a ticket that is normally done by people in the position that I'm interviewing for tomorrow! I'm feeling very...
1) Carts seem to be the system of choice for most. So what am I missing here?
I think you meant that cartos are the system of choice. A lot of us gave up on the carts and moved to cartomizers just because their easier to use and cheaper than atties.
2) Will a low resistance atty really kill...
Don't feel bad, Switched. Just last night I had some newb attack me in the New Members thread over an answer that I gave another new member. He accused me of bragging and pushing the IKV line and said that he was tired of it. The only reason I even mentioned the IKV line in my response was...
The tank atties are quite a bit different from regular atties. It's harder to drip with those because you have to get the juice right on the spike or else you'll get a dry, tasteless, harsh vape. It's easier to use the regular 510 atties with a delrin drip tip.
I would suggest either a standard resistance or LR atties. Don't go below 2.0Ω because the eGo uses a MOSFET switch that could be damaged by lower ohm atties. I really like the Dual Coil cartomizers, too. I'm currently using a Liquinator tank with the DC's and I really love it! It works great...
