    Hmm, the only reason I can think of for them not accepting the wire in a bubble-wrap envelope might be... 1. The word "wire" is freaking them out 2. Perhaps they're not able to accept anything that may poke through the small package sortation machines (?). I'm not familiar with the machines...

    Yup, we had a "5 and 10"...you could buy items for a nickel and/or a dime....back in the 1940's and 50's. At least that's what I heard. I wasn't around then :)
