    Hi Alucard, Yes some protected versions of batteries are longer than others so this is the solution and nice job in finding some that will fit! :) We will also be stocking some thicker o-rings for anyone who would like to purchase some at a later date....;)

    Hi Sprakkattak, Yes the 15270 is currently an unprotected version (mentioned in an earlier post) as we have not been able to locate protected ones as yet.... the mini pipe battery I believe is LiFePo which is a safer technology but I'll have to double check on the finer details and let you know. :)

    Great to hear Andy! :D I've been on the Maksi 5V 801 (not my first choice atty) for the past two weeks and lovin it.... tried the 5V carty a month ago and it definitely hits the spot... until that point I couldn't see what the fuss was with cartys but now I know! :)
