That would definitely explain it Fisherman - 3V on a normal atomiser will be pretty weak.... ;)
Nice tips Jason thanks for your input...:D
By the way anyone after a Mako might want to pay a visit to www.electronicstix.com as we are currently out of stock until September. :thumb:
Sorry gang have been away for a few days... we will anounce the winner of this comp tonight.... :D
So get posting people for a last chance to win a Ghost 016...;)
Hi Fisherman,
The main points to clean are thread sections and switch contact point.
I wouldn't soak in soapy water but you could use brasso to get rid of the oxidising on the threads.
Have you seen this video:
YouTube - smokejuice's Channel
I find this technique really helps...
Thanks for the interest guys :)- I think after that comment Andy we should insist that whoever reviews the Ghost 016 has to dress up as Whoopi Goldberg and hum the tune of unchained melody....just as long as there isn't any pottery involved :p:D

Hi o4_srt, :)
The mako maksi can take either:
14650 li-ion 3.7V or

I hadn't realised you had two chargers.... that makes it a little less likely that both chargers are faulty.
Speaking to other fairly heavy users, they are getting around 3-4 hours. I consider myself to be a moderate user and I get around 5-6 hours.
Another question - how long is your draw...
Hi CTJ :)
I don't think PlanetScribbles had any luck with the 5V batteries with the SB..... not sure why but possibly due to the extra internal diameter of the SB.
That being said, they should work (even if you have to wrap some extra insulation tape around them to make up the diameter)...
Hi shatner, :)
My only guess now is that your charger is faulty - 30 minutes even for a heavy user just doesn't make sense....
I'll get a replacement charger shipped out asap if you could just email me your address details to: admin@smokejuice.co.uk
Thanks in advance and apologies for the...
They will be compatible, but if you intend using different sized batteries we have come up with a much simpler solution for the Don which negates the need for the floating atomiser connection, and/or o-rings.
It will allow for internal adjustments according to battery length and the switch...
