I do like those wraps 'jslick' and agree the Orion has yet to be beat for me too. I just found the iVaper thread as I don't go in the suppliers forum much anymore. While it looks nice and well made, I'm just not a fan of the bottom button and never will be. The Orion fits my needs w/ a side... -

I was thinking nylon would be a good choice, you def know your mods, so I may look into that in the future. What is the current wick hole dimension for the v2.1? I thought 'rw' said 3mm? I don't have my mic w/ me at the moment. -

I also don't use an insulator in the wick hole. I found w/ the ZAP that it could melt easily, and none of my wraps were even close to it. The wick can get hot and it'll melt. I thought of doing what 'striker' does w/ the cig paper as an isolator but so far haven't needed it. I do use cig... -

Good review 'rw'. Although I am very happy w/ this mod, you raise some valid points. Some of your issues for me aren't a problem but I agree on some. This bothered me at first too, but I don't always need the wick pointing down. Mine is also at a 90 degree angle. I can still get good... -

I'm referring to the ones Les will include w/ the newest batch of Orion's, due out toward the end of the month. I have no problem w/ my poly type tank on mine now, I just want some back ups. Terry in the UK forums also makes them but they're a little larger and require a thicker o-ring... -

Thanks 'emonty', thought that was the deal. What does your new coil ohm at 'jolly'? I may try a twisted coil on my next. Did you do anything different 'crypto' when putting the new switch in, like extra o-rings, etc? So far I've been using the same 4/3 wrap coil since July 17th. I flush it... -

Hey 'emonty', just curious if your glass tanks are the ones you got from Terry or the new Les ones? I'm wondering what size o-rings you used if they're Terry's. I think I asked and you told me, probably on this thread, but I have forum overload now...lol -

Agree, I vape only tobacco and have no problems w/ poly. Just wanted to make sure he knows the new ones will be glass and the old some kind of plastic, although I'm not sure what kind. I remember seeing it on one of the forums. It may or may not be ok w/ malic flavors. -

I can attest that a 3.5 turn twisted coil w/ the wire Les gave us (.17mm) will be roughly 1.3ohms. It's best to do w/ a thinner gauge like the wire he gave us, or thinner. I'll probably add another wrap next time as that runs a little too hot for the batts. PS. I tried this on my ZAP first... -

Yeah, I have to agree, I don't think for my likes the Orion could be beat. Haven't found one yet I like better for form and functionality. -
