At the rate people are ordering them these days you might see them sometime in June. :D
Back in January I got my first one in exactly 2 weeks. Now it's up to over a month. Jeff is a busy man.
I've been using those same batteries for almost 3 months and havn't had any Chuck failures. I did loose a bunch of standard attys. I've been using HV atts for a month and a half with not troubles.
Thank you Rob. I'll pray for your wife too. Is she going to John's Hopkins in Balto? My father had heart valve replacement there when he was 75 and came through fine and is still kicking at 83. It's a great hospital and the best doctors anywhere.
A standard 9v battery does not supply much current. When you use it for your 901 you probably pull it down to 5 volts or so with each drag. The current needed to fire up an atty coil would probably kill a 9v battery in about 10 minutes.
What I meant in that thread is the connector on the Chuck that the atty screws on to. I don't know how Jeff attaches it but if it comes loose and is able to turn while the atty is being screwed on then the wires will detach. A lot of people call it an adapter so that's why I did. A real adapter...
I have a feeling some of the adapters are getting loose and when an atty gets screwed on the whole adapter starts turning and twists the wires around inside until they break off. I don't see how they can just come apart from normal use. Wondering if Jeff uses any kind of thread lock putting...
First you should get a multimeter and check voltage at the atty connector. I'm betting it's working fine but the atty + isn't making contact with Chuck +.
So I started having pain in my lower back about 6 years ago. It was just annoying at first but got progressively worse to the point where I could not walk for more than 10 minutes or so before I was in so much pain that not only was my back hurting but my legs were hurting and my feet were numb...
