When a battery short circuits or is drained below the tolerable limit it gets VERY HOT and can explode. When something explodes it gives off energy and that energy needs somewhere to escape. If it can't it will blow up like a pipe bomb or the gas will escape through the weakest point. Holes in...
I know about that. The switch is not sealed to the tube so that's where the air escapes. But hearing about BidD incident makes me think there should be a bigger hole for the instant blast of pressure to escape.
When a battery explodes it gives off gas just like a rocket taking off. That gas has to escape somewhere so in his case it came through the atty connector. This is why I was thinking a few weeks ago it might be a good idea for these Chucks to have a hole drilled in the end cap in case things...
Wow! Glad your ok BigD. This is the second time I've seen an exploded PV using 2 3v batteries. Be assured this has nothing to do with the Chuck. It's all about the batteries. If your vaping and suddenly get no vapor don't push that button again. I don't see this happening unless the circuit is...
If the opening credits do have the image you want I can take a good picture of it off the screen and give it to you. I don't watch Gunsmoke so I'm not sure what you're talking about.
The flashlight I made this from is old and not available any more. This is real close though.
Flashlight
You won't want to spend that kinda $ just to get the lanyard off of it. I'd look around in Walmart and find something with a lanyard attached and see if it can be transplanted.
So I have a flashlight that had an end cap similar to the chuck but the threads were not the same. It had a lanyard on it. The part the lanyard slips through was press fitted into the cap. I pulled it out and drilled a same size hole through the Chuck end cap and stuck it in there. It's a very...
Vapor is only slightly warm and there is no more burnt taste. I tried a standard atty at 6v and hated it too. My throat was burning and every juice I tried all tasted burnt. Also the HV atty will last longer at 6v since it's a higher resistance.
As for the iBook skipping do you mean it stops every few seconds when your watching? If so try going into system preferences, energy saver, options and make sure Processor Performance is set to Highest.
I got these at the drug store for one of my camera's. They will fit the Big Chuck. You can get them at Walmart too but they arn't cheap. I think they are nearly $10 for 2.
