I don't know man. In the GG forum a guy had his CR2s literally explode like a pipe bomb and nearly burn the house down. Check it out. He has pictures of it too.
The thread is called "GG safety tested and proved."
I work for a company that sends a lot of mail from Canada. I do graphic work for promotions that give away prize money. There are dollar prize amounts listed in the promotion. I've always typed the dollar amount as CAD$1,234,567.00 with the "CAD" being in small caps. Is this correct? I work with...
Your still using the 510 atty right? Maybe you could try getting an adapter and using a 801 or 901 atty instead. Are the new batteries the same brand as the others that didn't work? Maybe try a different brand of battery. This is a real puzzler.
I grew up in MD and know how it is when that happens. I hated shoveling snow. Havn't had to do it in 6 years now. BTW, you guys are in for another one possibly. We got a lot of rain here in Vegas today and it's supposed to turn to snow and be on your front door by Wednesday.
I'm using a 14" laptop right now that's why I can't see them full size. I'll look at them later in my offer. I have a 24" monitor in there.
What's cool is once I lock on to the center 3d image it just stays right there. I don't even have to cross my eyes anymore. I scrolled through all of them...
That's awesome man! I had no trouble focusing in 3d immediately. The Christmas scene one is by far the most impressive. Good Job!!!

So if the protection circuit trips you still get volts? That's weird. If I tested a battery and it was measuring the correct voltage I'd assume it was good. I didn't know that about the protection circuit.
Does the atty work on a standard battery? Do you have any others you can try. If your getting 6v on the Chuck then it's for sure an atty problem.
Another possibility is it blew the first time you pushed the switch. They are meant for 3.7v.
I'm betting the atty isn't screwed on tight enough and it's not making a good connection.
You beat me to it. Try using a straightened out paperclip stick it in the whole of the battery end of the atty and work it around so the connector moves out just a bit. It's mounted inside a silicone...
