Indeed. I tried some DW once or twice and found it to be a waste of time esp now that I make high VG juices. I too make juices from 100% VG, my flavorings (all but 2 or 3) are all PG based so the recipies usually work out to around 10/90 to 24/76 when I do it that way
Ha Ha!
Yea, I clouded the cab of the truck one day and my wife squealed "I cant see, I cant see" i laughed and said thats ok you aint the one driving! Ha ha!
Thats good advice.
I have developed a system where I start with my flavorings on the right side of the table and as I add one I put it over on the left side.
making a base liquid will also eliminate 3 steps and less handling of nicotine.
If you have a set Nic value its the way to go as you...
It is/can be a time consuming hobby, just take it slow and work with single flavors at the beginning. once you perfect a few flavors it will give you not only confidence but a juice supply to vape and save money while you develop others
If you DIY alot or go thru a lot of juice you will be surprised at how quick you'll start pricing the 1 gallon jugs.
the first 2 times I bought 1 quart bottles I though I was all set until I used them up so quick vaping, practicing and testing.
most days I will vape thru a minimum of 20ml up...
they are also, for the most part a 1 shot deal as they are almost impossible and a hassle to clean, a syringe is an easy rinse.
also apply clear tape to teh numbers as they will wash off w/i a few uses. lube them w/pg or vg after they dry.
the syringes will become hard to draw up and down after...
I get them occasionally and I do believe they are attributed to one or another of the ingredients. many of the juices I make are very high VG mostly 70% to 90% so in my case I would not think it to be the PG. my wife gets headaches all the time and blames my Vape.
Chocolates, Coffee's and sweeteners you want to start really low % values and work up from there.
a good idea is to mix single flavors to begin with, you learn what % ratios work with that flavor and mfg, once you get one nailed you can try another and nail that one, when you get that technique...
you can gently warm the VG in a cup of warm water or in the microwave for a few seconds on the lowest power setting and it will pour like water
I buy gallon jugs of VG and pour off 120ml from the bottle then pour 120ml of 100% nic and shake, I also do the same w/the PG as well. no muss no fuss. I then pour off into 120ml bottles for DIY projects. the rest stays in a cool dark place until I need more
I made DIY very simple for myself by making a few bottles of base liquid at whatever PG/VG ratio I want to start with and the nicotine added in.
I use 1ml syringes for flavoring and a 10ml syringe for adding the base liquid.
I add my flavoring first and then squirt the base liquid in, shake and...
I just pull the caps off of the flavor bottles off and use a needlesss syringe.
If you're making a 20 or 30ml batch the needle doesnt come in to play as much as if you are making a 3, 5 or 10ml batch as the needle holds a certain amount of flavoring that is not acounted for in the mix.
If you...
IMO, chocolates are tricky. try using only 1% or 2% then work up to maybe 4% or 5% if its not strong enough. steeping time will increase the flavor note
Yea, like Heden said, subtank or subtank Mini depending on size preference, being able to rebuild it yourself is a +
the Atlantis is a nice setup as well
