thanks to della cirque for giving me the heads-up on this thread. happy to say that i have two reo mini's here in san antonio texas, one purchased from rob and one purchased on classifieds. hopefully i will be adding a third soon! -

wow, i am sorry to hear that you have had a rough time of it. i love my reo's, but they are not totally infallible; i've goofed up springs with a bad atomizer on two different occasions. the first i sent in for a repair, but i just now called him to get more springs so i can fix it myself and...- braxy29

that is how my first one was. i had to subtract about .4 to get a correct resistance reading, but as far as i can tell, this meter reads accurately on it's own. again, it is a $25 automatic digital meter from radio shack, and it has a lid that holds the terminals and closes it up nicely, if... -

delilah, i think this meter must be pretty fancy. i hadn't tried putting the poles together for anything but resistance. when i do it for ohms, it starts at .3 and sinks down to zero, so i think it must be correcting for itself. when i try it set to voltage, it just reads zero. -
