I always use 2.5 mm ID contact coils in the doggy, but "only" 28GA round wire. 3 mm could be a very tight fit or even short the atomizer. -

Damn, another one of the acrylic tanks broke without any force whatsoever, it just completely broke apart over night directly above the threads and spilled it´s whole juice into my jacket... bummer... I suppose I will have to stop using my tank cracker liquid in the doggy.... -

Do you have by any chance the exact size of the o-ring you used on that position that works? If possible please measure the outer ring diameter, not inner (I saw many people state o ring sizes and not telling if outer or inner ID was taken... seems to be a country dependent thing if you measure... -

Well, exchanging any screws on existing atomizers that are totally annoying should be the easierst of all fixes, right? I mean AFAIK the material of the screw is not important, it´s just there to connect the wire to the base + and - poles. So find out the ID and length of the screw needed and... -

Thanks but ... been there, done that. 2.5 mm ID is my standard build and I actually changed to a 3 mm ID coil recently to check if the added ID and wick diameter will allow more juice flow and help to avoid reflow problems.... *sigh* -

Hi, so I wanted to ask you folks to take a look at my build. Can´t get this thing to work like it should, after rewicking it´s fine for a few draws until the wick starts to get dry again and gives me dry hits. There is just no juice reflow. Hardly see any bubbles rising, if so, very tiny ones... -

Hmmm. Maybe something happened when you opened the Ares. I mean every time I open it I have to turn the airflow ring first until it stops turning until I can start unscrewing the base unit, creating quite a bit of force to the airflow ring mechanism. Maybe something snapped or broke inside? If... -

Of course what I meant was START very low and slowly increase while permanently measuring if the set temperature is reached ... it must be a closed control cycle. For example: measure if temp is reached ... if not... increase wattage by 0.5 watts... measure if temp is reached ... if not... -

Thanks, ramp up wattage sound logical. Well I would expect it to start from 0 watts and increase wattage until the desired temperature is reached. But I understand that the mod can not measure exact temperatures but "calculates" the temperature by measuring the change of coil resistance... -
