Does anyone else get a "dirty sock" taste from LorAnn's?

You were the one that turned me on to that suggestion Dan! Thanks for that :) Very good points about testing the other liquids alone, to see how they taste. I've found my unflavored liquid is bland, almost like vaping steam. Knowing this will let you know the issue is for sure not the base...

    Time for a pass through

You simply can't go wrong with a passthrough. I've had 3 PV's and 2 of them have had to go back for repair. It was Snus (pre-PT) and the PT that have got me through those times. One could be built very cheaply (without an inline battery) and give you the 5V sweet spot for vaping. All you...

Does anyone else get a "dirty sock" taste from LorAnn's?

I use Lorann flavorings almost exclusively. Everything tastes much like it smells. Try mixing up a small batch of flavored water in a teaspoon and taste it. See if it tastes different that way.

What are Dekang liquids sweetened with?

VG is extremely sweet, if you take some USP VG and put it on your tongue, it almost seems sweeter than sugar. Ethyl Maltol is also sweet tasting, though I am not sure if they use this in any of their flavors. You will notice that Dekang doesn't have SDS certificates for every single flavor. I...

    Atomizer maintenace

Exposed bridge atty's (i.e. joye 306) will need to be soaked, but atty's like DSE-801's can be filled with alcohol, capped on both ends (with fingers) and shaken to clean out the internal parts. Some say that water is not good for atty's. I don't personally use water myself, I prefer alcohol...

Current Vapes? Care to share your different setups?

Started with a Janty Mini Fogger, moved on to a Janty Stick, then to a Chuck, and have a 5V passthrough (no in-line battery). I use the Janty Stick when I'm out and about, the Chuck for 6V or 3.7V at home, and the Passthrough mostly when I am sitting at the PC.

    Rc123a tenergy batts!!

That's my experience as well. I run 3 different battery types in my chuck with no issues with any of them, as far as overall performance goes. All batteries are going to work like a rock star the first 10-15 minutes, and they slowly lose performance, and eventually taper off at a rapid rate...

CA Gov to issue MASS VETO!!!

Lets hope so Lacey, I sent him an email with my opinions. I don't know if he'll put much thought to it since I live in Minnesota. I did let him know that his actions on allowing that bill to become law has potential to effect me in Minnesota as other states may follow suit. *crosses fingers*...

    Very Interesting.....

It's going to start getting really cold here in Minnesota. I'm wondering if they have some "anti-freeze" liner for coats, maybe a thin lining of PG. :D I get a kick out of the whole anti-freeze w/PG discussion, it just makes me chuckle every time I read about it. That's good info about the...

    VG

01gixer - That will work. It's USP Glycerin. I can not tell you if it is vegetable based or not. It's labeled a lot like the HUMCO brand Glycerin USP.

    US NAVY BANS E-Cigs....

Sad news :( brownbrown, see if you can find some Snus in your area. Give that a try and see if it can help quench your craving for nicotine. I really hate to hear stories like this but it's happenning everywhere. e-cigs are being classified in the same light as regular smoking, and the whole...

A few questions for the high powered folks

5V is a sweet spot IMO. A freshly charged 3.6V battery running at 4.2V is nice as well. 6V+ is just a dangerous area. If you don't know whats going on you can easily destroy an atty. I lost one over the weekend, I took a draw off of it thinking it had enough liquid in it, and in a matter of...

    How to spend a Saturday

That is 8.4V fully charged though right? Perhaps they will work better on older atty's that take longer to heat the coil.

Suggestion on Site- Please! User Friendliness...

I've found the same problem when scrolling through the list, and have to really go through it a time or two to find them. One thing that will make it easier, if you know the name of the supplier that you are looking for. You can use the "Search" or "Find" feature of your web browser from...

Do I really want/need a different cart filler?

I have had the best wicking success with factory carts. The big trick, I found, since I use a penstyle atty, was finding the right manufacturer cart for the right manufacturer atty. Believe it or not, but I found the Boge JKY-302 carts worked best in my Kissbox atty. You would think a Kissbox...

Hello ECF - We need to apologize to you all for jumping the gun on our stock update announcement on 9/30. We saw that our flavor shipment was Out for Delivery on the 30th, and as it happened, there was an issue with USPS and our package did not get delivered until today. Lorann Apple...

Atomizer "break-in" at low volts vs high volts?

We know these atomizers are subject to different results for each of us, and with the various brands/models/etc, it makes for a wide range of end-results. I have been vaping on this "throw-away" atomizer for almost a full month at 6V (mostly), probably 90% 6V, 10% 3.7V. It had been used in a...

    Tobacco (Menthol) ~18mg

Thanks to Mamu and Scubabatdan for coming up with the perfect ratios for cutting the potent menthol crystals and tobacco absolute. I think I found my all-day vape FINALLY. Tobacco (Menthol) ~18mg (~6ml) 4.5ml 24mg unflavored e-liquid 1.5ml VG 10 drops diluted tobacco absolute mix (see below)...
