I agree. I started on 18mg and had the nightmares. I cut back to 0 or 4mg in the evenings and the insomnia and vivid dreaming went away, and I found I didn't miss the extra nic at night.
These cheap deal extreme models got me into e-cigs too. I ordered one up to try, 3 weeks later it still hadn't arrived so I went with the Happy 510. The day after I got it my deal extreme showed up. But by then it was too late...I was already in love with the 510.
They have a few new ones on their site now. I'm going to give this one a shot:
DealExtreme: $11.26 Quit Smoking USB Rechargeable Electronic Cigarette with 5-Refills
I just ordered in one of these myself. I do a lot of backcountry camping and kayaking in the summer and this seems like a good solution to recharging out in the bush. My only concern was this unit doesn't have any kind of regulator, and 4 AA's at 1.5 will work out to 6V. My universal usb charger...
I do nothing to my attys and my first two lasted three months. They only just died in the last week and I suspect it's due to the juice (a DIY mix) that I was using.
Yeah basically the health e-cigarettes are junk. I have a couple. There is a huge difference between them and almost every other popular e-cigarette. Try a 510 or the KR-808 (the model Vapor4Life sells). Vastly different experience.
Basically drip liquid onto the top of the cart until it starts pooling. You want it to look kind of like a slurpee (sorry, best description I could think of). Add 1 or 2 drops directly to the atomizer and you're good to go!
I think Vapables only sells unflavoured VG so it's probably safe to...
Apparently there was a courier plane last year that had a fire in the cargo hold caused by a shipment of electronic cigarettes. I'll try to dig up the link. It was part of a story about pilots wanting to see lithium batteries banned from air shipment.
Here's a link:
Pilots Union Wants...
The 510 disposables get consistently good reviews and are probably the best out of any of the disposable models. If one of these is all your budget allows, go for it!
I started out vaping 0 mg and using a patch and I thought it worked fine. The patch took care of the nicotine craving, the vaping helped with the physical addiction. But I stopped due to the price of the patches, juice is just way cheaper, plus I like the "hit" that a juice with nic gives you.
Ever since I started vaping I haven't let a paycheque go by without putting in a new order of something or another. I almost had a buying free one last payday but wound up spending just $20 on some juice I didn't really need. Only $20, that's not so bad is it? :D
So tomorrow is payday again and...
Guilty! Now I use cartos for driving, they're perfect. I also found that two M401 cartridges would pretty much exactly last my commute, but the KR8 is just so much easier. I'm a bad enough driver without adding dripping into the mix!
