    I would do a couple of things: 1. Take your multimeter and check the attys you used and then "killed" to see if they are shorted out. Red to the center post and black to the outer tube. Set the Ohm setting to 200 and test. 2. Check the voltage of each battery in the pairs you use...

    Use the "Hiss Method"...while holding down the button, turn the bottom tube until you hear the atomizer hiss. Then just a tad more to keep it snug and you're done.

    I have a feeling Brandon will raise the limit before they start shipping. A few changes to a few lines of software is all it takes. The Darwin's hardware limit is MUCH higher than the current 12.7 so I can't see why the Kick can't go up a few more watts if the demand is there.
