I like to use shorty drip tips with the UFS but want it to be higher in the cap. Here's an easy extender and can be made almost any length.

Take the AVS 510 atomizer extension

and cut down the diameter to tightly fit inside an old carto tube. Using a vise, friction the modded extender into the tube....cut to the desired length and insert the drip tip.

Easy as cake to make.....

I havent tried with full tank, but i have some leaks even with out the extender (3,5ml in tank).
I suppose it has something to do with the internal pressure.
I am trying not to tighten the extender and the upper cup when i fill it and usually the problem is much smaller.
I ll try it tomorrow with 6ml and i ll post again

I couldn't helped it, so i try it right now :)

*Update
The first try was unsuccefull, cause i have a serious leak in the collector tank
but
in the second try i decide to use a tecnique from fog, i just use a silicone cover over the drip tip to stabilize the internal pressure in the tank an in the atty.
So i tighten all the pieces of the ufs, i fill the tank with approximately 5.5 ml, and put the upper cover with silicone over the drip tip.
This time it was a success, only a few drops inside the collector tank.
I remove them, by blowing from the holes of collector ring and after that, the UFS is working fine.

I think you just need a way to air seal the drip tip, in my case it worked.

Using delrin to make the extender....works just as well as metal

Last step is to cut the length to suit personal preference

Great idea what derlin piece is that a drip tip or something? Also what are you using to cut the metal without curling it in or are you straightening the curl back out afterwards?

Yeah, sacrifice a delrin drip tip to get the bottom piece and then friction it in a carto tube. I use a Dremel for EVERYTHING so a cutting disk works best; smooth off the edges after cutting to length.
