Not saying the voltage isn't lower (it is), but the eGo readings are flawed. The eGo uses a PWM circuit so you can't read its output with a DC voltmeter. You need a true RMS voltmeter or an oscilloscope. Here is a more meaningful analisys: What does the eGo Magic Circuit Really Do? That...- pmos69

Not really. The Bloog maxxfusion was launched in 2010 and the Volt about mid 2011. But the Volt is very similar to the Bloog, yes, and their customer service is also top notch.- pmos69

Not really. With this method you only soak the outer filer, and let the design work on it's own, taking the e-liquid to the coil through the wick. Getting e-liquid in the central airflow tube usually degrades the performance/durability of the cartos - At least for me. PS: Of course I'm... -

Try and fill them by just removing the "dripper" cap and dripping into the filer while holding the carto at an angle. Can't remember the last time I filled a carto with any other method (at least a Bloog carto). Like this: -

As far as minis go, I would recommend a Bloog maxxfusion kit, hands down. They have a forum here on ECF. One word of caution: kr808d-1 gear varies immensely in quality and performance depending on the supplier. Not all auto switches perform the same, not all batteries hold their voltage the same...- pmos69

Welcome to the club. Also have a bunch of other stuff, including mods and VVs, and occasionally do some dripping. But for MY tastes, and taking into account all the factors that make up the complete experience, nothing beats the maxxfusion. But nothing is perfect, and there's always room for... -

The circuit stop charging the battery after it's fully charged. Also li-ion batteries don't suffer from memory effect. Other battery types, like NiCd, have that issue. -
