Bloog cartomizer troubles..need help!

So solve the occasional gurgling issues, I just take out the vortex and blow through the mouthpiece a few times. Suggestion for GotVapes: Make some eGo cones available for usage with these. -

Possible to use a normal multimeter?
A "true rms" voltmeter is necessary to read the equivalent voltage of a pwm/switched regulator device. Square output waves, even "smoothed out" are not simple to read otherwise. You'll get a reading, but it will be flawed.- pmos69

You must be doing something terribly wrong. It's almost impossible to burn any part of a Bloog carto at 3.7V as long as you don't dry burn it. Also, calling the BMF a rebranded Volt is somewhat strange, since the Volt is a Bloog copy.- pmos69

Mine and ITA's. 99% efficiency is unlikely, yes. Expect a higher power drop introduced by the circuit even in it's higher duty cycle. -

That level of efficiency for the blue setting from a PWM circuit is unlikely. Even more when the previous "DC" readings (most likely flawed) show a performance a bit higher than a simple li-ion bat. About RMS. You need a "true RMS" voltmeter. AC readings and "average RMS" or similar readings... -

If they don't have a lower than supported resistance (enough to shut down the USB port), the only explanation is not making contact. There is nothing in the vortex to stop it from working at whatever voltage. In electrical terms, it's just a resistance. -

You said it right: boosted and regulated. The regulation part seems to be missing (or very weak) in the first version. But then, we're only assuming they would be regulated... As soon as someone checks the output with an oscilloscope or an RMS voltmeter, all will be clearer. I'll do it when I... -
