    Yeah, I love 32 gauge if I am rebuilding a Kanger topper(I don't use them anymore), but on my RDA I love the 28 gauge. Personal preference and tastes differ in everyone. Just because I like it doesn't mean you have to.

    Yes there are. To start with just by the fact that you are asking you need to stop using a .4 ohm coil. Batteries can and do go into thermal runaway.     There are some max VG juices that have decent flavor. Just makes it harder to find. Mt Baker Vapor has the option of making any juice max vg.

    For short periods of time it is not a big deal. Overnight I find a way to keep it upright. A lot of times I use a coffee cup and stand them in that. I don't own a mod stand.
