    If you don't mind waiting a couple weeks you can get an SVD for a little over $40 with free shipping. Otherwise my twist and vivi nova mini setup produces allot of vapor for a smaller setup. A vv ego battery can work as good as an apv if your just going to use it to adjust voltage.

    The coil could have been bad to begin with it happens. Anyways you need to keep the wicks wet by tipping the clearo after each pull and try to not let the liquid level to get too low. I had a bad first experience with a ce4 stardust clearo when I started.

    Bottom coils will get a bit of liquid on the battery contact but shouldn't leak anywhere else. As for the airy draw make sure your setting it at 9 - 9.5w for a 1.8ohm head the vapor production gets rid of the airy draw. Vivi nova minis are great but the bigger vivi novas leak out the bottom...

    The airy draw isn't noticeable if you just turn up the voltage/wattage. Protanks work better for me at 9.5w lots of vapor and flavor well I do remove a bit of wick to help flavor aswell.

    I'm thinking maybe a thin wrap of plumbers tape at the bottom of the head might work then after screwing it in just trim off anything that would interrupt connection with the battery contact. Should keep it from connecting with the side of the protank I would think.
