I will preface this with its very possible that I just completely screwed up and did it completely wrong:
I attempted to take apart my second one that had the burnt taste/smell come and go because I accidentally yanking the wick out trying to adjust it. First, there was absolutely no way this...
Yeah, so I attempted this out of necessity because I accidentally pulled the wick out trying to adjust it (burnt taste). I still havent got the thing disassembled and there are hairline cracks all over. Crapola.
Easy to take apart is the last phrase I would use to describe this second batch...
Gotvapes has some of the larger bore eGo cones that fit CE2 clearos. I ordered a couple and they fit great. They are basically the exact same size as an eGo-T tank atty with no guts and threads on the lower part.
eGo Cone (also for Micromizer and FLuxmizer clearomizers!) BLACK...
Mine is whatever batch shipped out last week. I left mine in an upright position overnight, and they sit on my desk in that position as well (in a glass).
I was using a PG coffee flavor that I have been using previously in CE2s with no issue. One thing that is characteristic about this juice (I am assuming because of the sweetness and darker color) is that it will junk up a coil very quickly. I traditionally have had to clean my CE2s using this...
I know you get a discount by signing up for their newsletter. They may have a coupon in the master coupon list in the general forum. I get mine from awesomevapor.com just because they are down the street from me and I use the 510 threading (and $3 cheaper with no shipping), but as far as I...
So I only ordered two of these (what was I thinking?), the first one I filled with 1/2 menthol pg and 1/2 menthol 70/30 vg, worked awesome right off the bat. The 2nd one I filled with pg coffee and I quickly noticed that burnt taste. Heartbroken, I pulled off that brass ring and silicone cover...
In my personal opinion they are a good deal. I like the larger size simply for capacity which is part of the reason I went to them in the first place, I simply would not mess with the smaller ones because I don't like to fill up more than once a day.
I am in the same boat, I have two boxes on the shelf and another that has 2 or 3 in it. I am still in the flavor testing mode (only 3 or so months into vaping) so they will probably continue to get used for that. They don't make for a bad backup supply, along with my eGo-T tanks and atty...
Just got my Stardusts in the mail today. Holy crap these are awesome, I cannot wait until more are in stock! I am using a 650mah eGo-T @3.4V. Absolutely awesome product guys. I was primarily using CE2/fluxomizers before.....and I think they just got replaced.
The CE2s I have purchased from awesomevapor.com (local brick and mortar for me) are of the newer non crack design as well.
EDIT: I also wanted to add that my modification consists of removing the lower cup seal completely, placing one of the inner rings ribbed side down, take an additional...
I can't say enough good things personally about the CE2s (fluxomizer/microcig kind). Once you learn the tricks (cleaning, o-ring shuffle, etc) they are great performers. I have used both the native 808 thread as well as the 510 thread with an adapter and had no problems on my 808 ecig. Right...
I checked that link out, thanks. What I was wondering, are these all the same device and should I expect the same quality and performance? if not I will just wait for gotvapes to restock.
Since it seems like the stardust is a pretty diffucult item to keep in stock, I am looking at alternative vendors that I have seen in other threads. Am I to assume that no matter what name a reseller slaps on these, these are all the same ce4+ from microcig?
