So if I'm too inpatient to wait for the new release, the the most up to date thing to get would be those XL Deluxe 808s from gotvapes right? Not the CE2 X normal sized?

In my personal opinion they are a good deal. I like the larger size simply for capacity which is part of the reason I went to them in the first place, I simply would not mess with the smaller ones because I don't like to fill up more than once a day.

Cool beans. BTW, does gotvapes have a coupon code?

I know you get a discount by signing up for their newsletter. They may have a coupon in the master coupon list in the general forum. I get mine from awesomevapor.com just because they are down the street from me and I use the 510 threading (and $3 cheaper with no shipping), but as far as I have seen gotvapes.com is the only place with the 808 threaded versions. I just use a 808/901 to 510 thread adapter when I am using them on my 808 battery.

They are both the latest release, just one is taller and holds more juice than the other. I don't know why Gotvapes designates the shorter ones with an X, they have different names for everything. Personally I'd go with the longer ones to keep from filling as often.

Gotvapes doesn't have a coupon code that I know of but if you sign up for the newsletter before you purchase you get 5% off.

Wow good to know

I did sign up for that newsletter gentlemen, thank you :) (ladies? Not sure!)

From the descriptions I was convinced the difference between the CE2X and the CE2Deluxe were the improved outer casing. I'll probably shoot them an email or a call and ask before I press send on the order to confirm.

Thank you for all the help everyone. In any event if there are other 'clearomizers' to keep tabs on this would probably be a good place to do it, because this topic comes up here and there

The shorter ones are good for new juice blends and DIY. Mtn Vaper has .5mls that is perfect for when you want to test a juice for longer than a typical drip and puff session. They are bottom coil so they can be finicky with juice. LOL he calls em 808-d1 tanks. I know that calling em a tank just separates them from filler based carts but it's funny to think of .5ml as a tank.

Spaceballsrules... I see by your signature that you've been down the exact same path as I have.. V2, Elite, and you've moved on. I'm considering moving on too.. I assume you recommend the Riva. Anyway, I've been looking at these clearomizers(?) to use on my Elite.. can I use these things? I'm pretty sick of refilling my little traditional cartos so many times a day. I don't want to have to modify anything.. I'm the go-to girl at work when one of our big expensive blood analyzers goes down, but honestly these little things mystify me! Just wanna fill it, screw it on, and have it work! Whadya think??

I'd love to try these, but oh my god I just can't handle learning any more .... right now. I'm sure it's pretty simple, but just glancing over this modding discussion made me have one of those *oh here we go again* moments.

I think I'll stick to my crappy traditional carto's until my brain stops bubbling over. But thanks for all this-- I'll return to it later :)

These clearomizers should work just fine on the Elite, but it might not be aesthetically perfect. Personally, I find the standard horizontal coil cartos work best for me. If you want to refill less, try some mega cartos like these - IKV MEGA KR-808 Cartomizer STD Black 3.0

spaceballsrules, how do 3.0 ohms vape at 3.7 volts? maybe I'm a wattage junky, but I feel like that would be way to cool of a vape for me

It is. I like the resistance around 2.5 when using a 3.7V batt. I couldn't find any mega cartos with ratings other than 2.0 or 3.0, and IMO 2.0 is too low. I'm just trying to give a suggestion. Hey, she asked, right?

When do you expect those clearomizers to show up? I would really like to hear what you think of them. I have been using a Vision Extreme clearomizer on my 510, and apart from the break-in period, it works incredibly well.

I wasn't asking to borrow any. LOL! I was asking if they were stickered or painted. Sorry. Should have asked the question better.

LOL

I ordered the 3.0 naked and the 2.0 black, which came stickered.
