Hi Katy,
I just apply a veneer to the surface of the regular tubes on these and the regular caps are used too. I mostly use commercial veneers (the spalted elm I mill myself), they vary in thickness slightly but start out near 1/32" thick. After sanding the variance is even more depending on how...
The switch has an orange rubber membrane over it's face with the button molded into it. The rubber has torn around the base of the button. This happened to mine too. I glued it back together and it was fine for a few days and fell off again. Be prepared to send it back for a new switch. sorry to...
Wrong forum for this line of discussion.
Buzz Pros and infinity Pros are the best, most affordable way to get a wood veneered VV tube mod. My first and only VV mods are from Notcigs.
I appreciate all the attention though. :)

Way to go man.
I do a little woodworking myself.
My website is woefully in need of...
Yeah, sorta. cba had it taken apart and the empty tube sent to me and I wrapped it in veneer. I'm not taking responsibility for taking apart and re assembling anybody else's mod.
I'm confused. Why is the Buzz Pro subject to this safety "make over" but the I-Pro is fine as is? Isn't the venting exactly the same? Three little holes at the bottom, two stacked batts. Seems the same to me.
