    Wrong forum for this line of discussion. Buzz Pros and infinity Pros are the best, most affordable way to get a wood veneered VV tube mod. My first and only VV mods are from Notcigs. I appreciate all the attention though. :)

    I have been using this adapter for a very long time : 510 Battery to 801 Shorty Atomizer Adapter It has always worked flawlessly and only adds a silly millimeter to the length. No need to panic. The only problem with it is you have to be careful not to throw it away when you toss out the carto.

    The "mixed" light indicates either a short or low battery. In your case it sounds like a short in the atty/carto. I have had it be anything from a piece of debris in the connecter to an internal short.

    aspen, I think those might have been meant for me. I'm doing some veneered tubes for David and told him that I needed screws to set the countersink in the wood. That was a couple days ago... Don't know how that mistake was made. I'll PM you.

    That veneer ends up less than 1/32" thick after sanding. No appreciable weight to it.

    I'm confused. Why is the Buzz Pro subject to this safety "make over" but the I-Pro is fine as is? Isn't the venting exactly the same? Three little holes at the bottom, two stacked batts. Seems the same to me.
