I have not used my grands in over 3 years. I am a woodvil user only :) There is nothing like a wood mod.
That being said, you are going to want more than one anyhow, might as well start with a grand....
My wife would like a locator of some kind. She misplaces here in the house every day. Easy to tell, she walks thru looking around and not saying anything :)
I cleaned a few soaking in rubbing alcohol. Only thing I could get to work.
Get a small shot glass or candle glass and fill it ful then soak the tube by leaning the reo over. Then run a lot thru the connector & tube.
Anyone have any suggestions on changing the feed tube on a woodvil? Glue it on?
Also, where can I order more tubing, I have enough to do 1 repair. Thanks!
I have found rubbing alcohol works best. I soak the bottle & run it thru the tube and connector, pinch the end of the tube & fill the connector & tube for a while also.
As verified by my wife who can smell what I am thinking :)
Ken,
I refinished a few of them using 320 grit sanding block then a piece of 600 sandpaper. Put Howards on them for a natural finish. They turned out very good, almost looked like new. They were all well used woodvils :)
