Yes I did everything you could imagine to get it to work. Finally tonight I had success!! What I had not done is turn the eGrip off to change out head. 5 clicks- turn the mod off- then change the head, then 5 clicks and turn the mod on. It's worked flawlessly now! So if anyone else has issues... -

Btw thanks for the RBA Vicky. It's not the base its the newer style eGrip. I think the atty opening is milled a bit differently on these. The atty cover on my older style eGrip also wouldn't screw in all the way on the newer one- either that or I just have a newer one that's not milled... -
