    Glad I could help :) I too love my 69 mod. Even when I'm using other devices for weeks at a time I could never sell/trade the 69 cause I always end up coming back to it again later lol

    Do you have any battery rattle when its assembled? If not, check the switch contact, specifically the one that turns when you turn your 69's switch to the "lock" position. If that contact is not centered try centering it and see if that helps. If it doesn't, take a look at where it makes...

    Aside from the silver plating wearing you still need to perform normal maintenance :) Giving your 69 a good cleaning will generally improve performance again if if has not been cleaned in a while. Just pull it all apart and clean everything, threads, contacts, etc.
