What are you vaping at? If you are vaping at 3.7v you should only be using a LR atty. If you are vaping at 6v you can use a SR atty, but they will get super hot. So basically at 3.7v I would only use a LR atty, and at 6v I would only use a HR atty.
Good to see that its working now. For future reference, only soak the switch assembly, not the atomizer interface. Let it soak in the lime juice for about 5 minutes, then take it out and rinse it thoroughly. Then let it sit for a while to dry out.
Try soaking the switch in lime juice. The outside contact points might look clean, but the contact points inside the switch could be dirty. Soaking it in lime juice will break up any of that corrosion. Try that and let me know if it works.
Before you get a new switch try soaking it in lime juice. THis will break up any corrosion on the inside of the switch contact points and might make your switch start working again. It's worth a shot.
Sorry for the late reply. bmwjen has good advice. I do exactly what she described as far as filling up the RES. Just keep putting in drops until you get some to leak out of the top air holes on the outside of the RES. Make sure you remember how many you can fit so you can fill it up next time...
Glad to see this thread revived after a while. Good to hear that you are happy with the Ultrapure. You, like most that try it, never look back to anything else.
To be honest there is not a huge difference between the two. The only way you will feel a difference is if you have very weak hands, say from arthritis.
Good to hear you are back in business.
Roxxette, I prefer to refill the atty completely full and then slowly blow the liquid through the atty and up into the RES. Trying to refill the RES directly is a huge pain and very messy in my opinion. Hope this helps.
Sorry for such a late reply. Yes you have an ultra. The easiest way to tell an ultra from an ultralite is to look at the switch. The ultralite switch will have the plastic housing completely surrounding the battery contact. The ultra/ultramax switches do not have this extra plastic piece.
If it's an Ultra then you can use either of these batteries.
This battery is for vaping at 3.7V: Ultra IMR 14500 LiMn High Drain 3.7v Rechargeable Battery: Your source for the best electronic cigarettes / personal vaporizers in the world.
And these batteries are used for vaping at 6V: Ultra...
I think you should notice a difference between the lite and max at 3.7v. Technically you shouldn't be able to since they are both 3.7v, but having such a bigger battery with so much more mah, it packs more of a punch with each puff. Plus, just being able to have the option to do 6v is always...
