Stainless Steel capable mods
Yihi 350 however after trying out SS, i find titanium's better for TC (IMO). the ramp up n cool down time for SS is just too slow compare to titanium. -

i used to do contact titanium coil. but becos of the "pulsing till it turn blue" on a dual coil build, i couldn't get both the coil to glow evenly. but once i space the ti1 coil out. i realised i got more vapour n flavour out of it. so maybe, space SS coil would vape great))- macis

i'm currently using contact coil becos of so much talked abt space coil failing a dry burn test. but yeah, i'll do space coil once i finished my juice.- macis

do u do a dry burn test on SS coil?
will be trying out SS wire on TC mode. i read that the cotton will burned with space coil during the dry burn test. if tat is so, what's the purpose of temp control?- macis

yes i did a double triple checked. i switched the atty n clicked the fire button so many times the i thinked i've grown sm muscles on my knuckles lol. i believe its either my mod is defective, or its a bug. however, there's no issue if i were to manually adjust the setting under the same... -

oh.. lol. i just tried to fire the kanthal coil on ti1 mode again. my C1 configuration setting ti1 mode was set at 0.11ohm with my billow tank. so when i switched to a 0.39 kanthal tank, it shows "dry coil no liquid" becos it detect a higher resistance. i had to locked the resistance again with... -

other than the joule counter not moving like it would when u hit the fire button, the display on my screen is normal when i can't fire the kanthal tank, it didn't show up any special msg. the build was a dual clapton at 0.39ohm. but i tested with a single kanthal at 0.7ohm last nite too, n found... -

yes, i thinked it does detect the correct resistance. after failing to fire the kanthal coil, i can only adjust the configuration to "C3" which is Ni200 mode to have it fire with no prob. i then adjust it back to "C2" which is power mode, n it'll work again. thx for ur reply vlad, do update us. -
