I think I want to join the REO Cult - like now... while I got me nerve up and cc out!

Hey there and welcome Soundhunter. Get yourself an LP Grand as you will need the LP version to run toppers similar to the ones you mention. Once you have the LP Grand there are many RDA options. The RM2 is amazing for mouth to lung hits, tons and tons of flavor so could compete with your...

New to vaping wouldn't mind some advice

I would agree that cranking down on a tank will eventually make it leaky, it squashes the little rubber spacers in the coil heads. I have several Evod tanks and like they way they vape but they can get flooded, never had one leak though. My suggestion, if you like that form factor, is to step...

    Atomizer for 180 watt Godbox

If you're asking about RDAs it is going to have to hold a large build, i.e. big coils fed by a lot of wick, and lots of airflow! I'd suggest perhaps a Loki Labs Odin, possibly a Stillare, and maybe a Zenith v2. Don't think you'll get enough airflow with anything like a Magma, Tugboat, Quasar...

Am I alone loving my Ego setup?

Not at all! I have nine or ten mods running at any given time but I start every day with my Vamo V5 with a simple PTMini2 with plain old bacco juice. No fiddling, just hit the button and vape. OK, so a Vamo isn't exactly an ego battery but the PTMini2 is an ego tank! If it works for you...

Firing Issues On New SL/LP Grand...Help!

The door trick is a great suggestion, hadn't noticed it until now because my other Grands arent SL so I couldn't see it happen!

Firing Issues On New SL/LP Grand...Help!

Roger that, I'll hunt some down. Never used it, it's some sort of goo that you put on the firing pin correct? Thanks Rob!

Firing Issues On New SL/LP Grand...Help!

All good tips, was hoping to avoid using Noalox and didn't think I needed to with the SO kit but if that's what I need to do I will. The Grand is brand new, as in I put the first battery in it yesterday, so not sure how anything would have moved out of place but possible. The mod was...

Firing Issues On New SL/LP Grand...Help!

Fellow Reonauts, I have a brand new SL/LP Grand that I am really loving, there seems to be an issue firing it though. Not sure if it is an issue with batteries that are getting worn or something else. Sometimes I have to really mash the firing button to get it work, mash it hard enough so...

    Easiest way to try juices?

I would highly recommend a simple wickless bridgeless 510 dripping atty. Simply screw it into your mod, drip in a few drops, vape, then burn off excess and repeat with new flavor. You'll have minimal flavor bleed over and you won't have to rewick between every flavor. They work great, tried...

    New to Vaping, any suggestions?

Hey, congrats on moving to vaping and great purchase with MVP! The iClear16 is a fine topper, no need to feel like you have to rush out and upgrade anything right now. If you are looking for juice suggestions I would point you towards Hangsen/Dekang Desert Ship or Highway. Both are very good...

Don't For A Minute Forget Why We Vape

Thanks to one and all and Clould Miner, don't sweat it at all. I took it in the humor it was meant and it did make me laugh. You guys really are the best, I honestly wasn't fishing for sympathy but appreciate all the well wishes. I needed to remind myself and thought others might benefit as...

My thoughts about sub-ohm and latest VV/VW devices...

Wow, what a well thought out explanation. Thank you ever so much for taking the time to enlighten the class, I certainly learned a thing or two. Now to tear down one of my RDAs and put a big fat 1.8ohm build for my iPV2...mmmm

    What Now?

I have to agree with the Nautilus suggestion if you don't want to rebuild. I vape heavy VG based juice and get at least three weeks out of the coil heads but of course YMMV. I have noticed that if you are vaping a delicate juice the heads can cook what is in the tank and turn it dark. All...

Where is the Reos forum located?

Can also just search Reos Mods and the forum will be the first post I believe.

    My first Mech Mod

You can use the Panasonic batteries no problem, just follow Ohms law and stay safe. I'd suggest staying at .5ohm or higher with those. The eFest purples are good batteries but the 35amp rating is misleading, that is a peak rating rather than continuous. I believe they are rated at 20amps...

Where can I go? please help!

Use ECF, no such thing as a stupid question here as long as you ask it BEFORE you do it! Don't come and say "hey, I put a .1ohm build in my brand new mech mod/rda with a 10amp battery in it, is that OK"? Youtube is your friend, Google is your friend, ECF is your friend. Too many great...

    resistance

The resistance on a coil will climb slowly as you use it until it dies eventually. Keep in mind that once you fire a coil a few times the resistance will move up just a little as well as the coil breaks in. Nothing to worry about, everything normal with your coil and your mod so don't sweat it.

Want to get into mechanical mods

Good start, would suggest stepping up to the Sony VTC4 or 5 with the battery or even the AW IMR 1600mah for safety reasons but if you are only going to be running a Kafun type topper you should be fine. Do yourself a favor and spend the few bucks to get a 510 ohm meter, they are great to build...
