Throat Hit among various nic levels

I have seen numerous other threads about comparing throat hit among different nicotine levels. But, as expected, the answers vary wildly and are typically "try xyz's juice; they use a special VG/PG blend" or "try abc's juice, their efg flavor will knock your socks off", etc. So I thought I...

(The Wall Street Journal) E-Cigarettes Spark New Smoking War

I think this one deserves two threads (and not because I was quoted in it). ;)

    Wall Street Journal Article

There was a very nice article in the Wall Street Journal: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...870116450.html

    Just got Red Oak Domestic

To me, the JC Domestic has a very distinctive (and wonderful) flavor. Since you said that you're using a brand new atomizer, my first guess is you haven't burned through the primer in the atty. That stuff can kill flavors. Blow the atty out and prime it again. But I exclusively drip with the...

Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured (Red Oak)

I don't know why The Big Chief's V2 is collecting dust. But mine is too... because I bought a V3. It's hands-down my favorite device, and I can't recommend it enough. :) And, by the way, JC Domestic is fantastic at 6v on my V3. (my lame attempt to keep the thread on topic. ;))

Johnson Creek Tennessee Cured (Red Oak)

I'm another JC addict. Red Oak Tennessee Cured is my take-to-work vape. Domestic is my relax-at-home choice. That's pretty much all I use these days.

Do you still crave a cigarette sometimes?

My S.O. still smokes so I'm around cigarettes all the time. Haven't had even the slightest craving or temptation in over a year.

    FDA Hoax?

    Agreed. Very well said. :)

    Inhaling

Guess I'm just an anomaly. No biggie; the way I've been doing it is working. :)

    FDA Hoax?

LOL. I think we're making the same point. Being FDA Registered is required for anyone making a product for human consumption. It's not, as previous posts implied, an optional thing you can get if you pay for it (like getting into Who's Who). At least that was my point. It's obvious our opinions...

    FDA Hoax?

But to the original post and follow-ups on that company, if they actually have 'FDA Approved' stamped on the device or on their site, it is a scam. There is no such thing. If they, instead, have FDA Registered on the device, then it is tacky and misleading and would steer me away from them...

    FDA Hoax?

This thread actually wasn't about Johnson Creek. But, since they were brought up, they do not in any way imply that they are FDA Approved and state such pretty clearly. Here's the link to their FDA information page: FDA

    Inhaling

But do you get any throat hit (or any sensation at all, for that matter) from it? Because I don't. I'm just wondering what I would be doing wrong, although I think, by now, I know how to inhale. LOL.

    FDA Hoax?

FDA Registered does not mean FDA Approved.

    Inhaling

I have tried the direct inhale a few times, including just now after reading this thread. I still get zero throat hit from it and, personally, don't find it at all satisfying. Plenty of vapor, though.

    First Dr. visit today

+1. My last two 6-month checkups were the easiest I have had in the nearly 20 years I've been going to my dentist. (I smoked for 21 years.) The hygienist and dentist were so excited about it, they insisted I go to my car, get my PV, and bring it in the office for a demo.
