    For the 1.1 stainless adapters, PS tightened the threads to help with the stripping problem some experienced with the brass adapters. The downside is that only true Joye 510s will fit on these. Steve has said the threads will relax over time. But I don't use mine anymore, so I can't verify...

    The ones I got from Vapor Kings don't fit the Protege 1.1 (SS) 510 adapter. I had to revert back to my V1 (brass) model.
