eVic-VT mini?
The German Phil Busardo (Dirk Oberhaus) has already ran the scope tests on the Evic VT Mini. From the little I can gather from his video, it appears it is more accurate than the original. Anyone care to translate his findings in regard to the accuracy of the TC? -
IPV D2 vs IPV Mini 2 (Opinions)
The IPV Mini 2 was my all day device for about 6 months, so i am familiar with it. In short, the D2 is far superior in every way. It's smaller, has the same power, feels better in the hand, has temp control and it's easier to change the battery. -

I have seen different values. One forum post claims 600F for the blue. A technical book on titanium claims 700F for yellow, 900F for blue and 1200F for dull grey. -

Druckle, what's your opinion of Tantalum? It's TCR is identical to Ti's (.0038). It is inert in the human body and highly resistant to corrosion. I'm not sure, however, how high it's resistance is compared to other metals or how practical it would be for coils. -

DJSLB said in his video review that it appears to work. He showed dry burn tests, etc. However, Busardo said in his preview "Does the Kanthal dry burn protection work on the Asolo? Not really. But, I still have more tests to do." I am curious what he has to say about it in his final review. -

Probably a bigger reason they chose it is because of its TCR. The mod doesn't have to be as accurate with ohm its reading (or as precise) as it would for, say, SS or even Ti. It's kind of like a digital scale. 1.1g on one scale isn't as precise as 1.13g on another. And that scale is nothing... -
