25 bucks is dirt cheap for one of those im pretty sure. I think you got a clone.
Wait, mine doesn't do that. If the screen is dark, it lights up and joules go up.
I'm not aware there is a different firmware version other than V2 as the official release for the D2.
When my display is off, I press then quickly release the UP or DOWN button, the display turns on.
When my display is off, I press and hold the UP or DOWN button for approx 2 seconds, the display turns on and immediately changes the temp/joules accordingly.
The buttons are very sturdy (make sure it is making contact when pressed) so this could be causing some to believe it does nothing - unless those who are experiencing issues have some sort of board/button defect on theirs.

Someone else posted on another thread that they had a really cheap evil VTC deal. I've never heard of this vendor and been burned too many times. Would you post your experience when (if) your order arrives?

They unfortunately have an almost identical name as another place that's a ripoff.
The ripoff place has a dash between the e and the c.
I have read in other threads over the past couple of years that ecig.com (without the dash) is legit.

My IPV D2 is also SX130H V2.0 The up button does not wake up the device.

j/kPress for at least 1 full second and release. If it doesn't then it doesn't.
If everything else works as described I would not worry. Wake up is supposed to be by the fire button anyway.

It has a 2 second delay. Hold the button down it should wake it up.
Doesn't work. I can hold it down or I can press it multiple times. My device will not wake up by using the + button no matter how long or how many times I press it.
Right. Which means the picture he posted is not of a Subtank Plus unless I am bat.... blind. I don't think a 25mm atty will fit in this tiny mod.
