Exactly Imeo and this my friend is why I will always be loyal and loving to my GG because even if my GGVV should go bad it can be removed to be fixed while I can still use my GGTS at the same time... and is exactly the reason I will never own any other VV mod device...
its all about personal choices when it comes to batteries and how we use them... for example I wont use any battery that isnt LiMN safe tech basically the AW IMR I was an electronic component broker for almost a decade and the fail rate of IC's is enough for me not to trust protected IC...
To be honest I like the contrast of tarnished brass against the shiny Stainless Steel to me it gives it a bit more character... also looks great with o-rings over the TS tube and helps give it a lil better grip as well one of these days I will take pics but I know there are a few other people...
Powder coating would be cool but take a look at anodizing I believe its more durable and will last longer with aluminum... and as a window cleaner by trade I hate Windex its the worst thing ever and does nothing but leave streaks and residue... I would recommend on the Stainless Steel finish...
No dude no worries it is a good deal and all comes down to personal choice... I just felt as it was info that people very much need to know and understand before making any choice of what battery to use... my response did come out a lil stand offish and Im sorry for that but was more of a...
LiMN doesnt explode or catch fire like Li-Ion and therefore does not need a protection circuit...
AW IMR = LiMN Technology
AW IC = Lithium Ion with protection circuit...
The advantage is that the LiMN is a safe chemistry, in that it won't explode or catch fire if overcharged or...
Ok seriously I missed both Stealth sales.... If I miss iAtty2 or VV I will climb a clock tower and practice my aim.... so I feel its now a responsibility of the GG family to make sure I am able to purchase these 2 items when available to prevent said event from happening... many innocent people...
OK so as I let my mind wander you have discovered how to make cold fusion work and will have a PV that never needs re-charging or batteries, you developed a nano-bot to repair and rebuild burnt coils for us... and self cleaning wick that will never need to be changed and will never have wick...
My guess is its a new cap thats flipable one side 510/901 the other 801 or whatever so no need for rethreaders just pull and flip the contact pin for whatever style atty connection your using... but just a guess
looks kinda cool actually... but I found putting a lil dieletric grease around the spring pin and tip of the button where it contacts worked well and was 5 dollar solution also prevents corrosion so it was a win win IMO... I also unscrewed the spring pin from the brass base and put a dab in...
I could probably help you out Cliffy.... but I do advise the Standard US size kit the smallest o-ring in the standard kit is the exact same size as the ones that go around the iAtty ceramic as the Metric version is very thin and useless... just a heads up...let me know well work something out...
I'm not Jealous I make my own stealth model out of my GG too... I just slap in a CR123/16340 removed the tube below pin and screw my tank back on the TS-Tube... Tah Duh instant Stealth and mine has GG adjustable draw so ne ner ne ner ne ner.....lol
I would post pics but I'm lazy right now...
