Riffy - I don't fill the tanks full. I only use about 1ml of the 1.2ml capacity. I think the bubble helps with the wicking. No bubble at the top seems to create too much of a vacuum in the tank reducing the juice flow and causing the dry hits. I also prime the spike with some small juice drops...
Here is a post I made earlier in this thread about the size difference in the standard eGo battery and the C battery. The threads are the same and the cone/base for the C fits perfectly on both. :2cool:
Edit to add: The eGo-T batteries work with the C cone and attys as well.
I have noticed while using the C that the atty base and the metal area around the button will get warm. If I keep vaping it will get warmer and this is when I notice a change in the flavor. If I keep vaping after this I will get a dry hit and the tire fire flavor. Yum! :nah:
I used cartos on...
I got an email from Ben and Christy today stating that their popular juices would be back in stock soon. They don't have an exact date yet but will post the update on the AVE homepage as soon as possible. My guess...hoping...praying...is next week some time? :nun:
I think they just got...
You will get some condensation on the inside of the cone as the vapor settles and transforms from vapor back to juice. I see droplets in the cone when I change/refill tanks and wipe these out with a paper towel rolled into a cone shape. I stick it in the cone and twist it around to soak up these...
mjt - Did you say you were using this on a Riva Battery? I think the Riva battery may be a bit higher voltage at 3.7v (unregulated) than the eGo batteries. The C battery is 3.5v regulated and the standard eGo battery is 3.4v regulated. You may be simply overheating the juice with the LR atty 1.8...
My wife likes the cooler vape of the SR atty with her sweet juices. I like the extra heat on some juices so we have both LR and SR attys for the C. Nice to be able to switch gears and get the different flavor characteristics from one juice.
I don't think that Joye makes anything other than plastic for the eGo T or C tanks. You might want to consider a carto tank setup as I believe some of those are available in glass?
Welcome HUSTLER74! I think you might like House Blend from Copper Creek. I haven't tried Bounty Hunter yet but the description the NLV gives on the site for Bounty Hunter sounds similar to House Blend but likely a bit less of a tobacco flavor. You can get it in 7 different PG/VG ratios so they...
House Blend has a fair lead for the gold with Bounty Hunter and Boba's Bounty currently tied for second place silver. Kona Coffee Milkshake jockeying for the bronze. :pop:
I will probably be there right after you. I will be the kinda geeky looking guy with glasses and a goatee rocking my eGo-C. Sending PM.
I am hoping my Bounty Hunter from NLV that recently shipped gets here tomorrow or Saturday so I can bring some with me to share. If not I will bring...
wv2win - Olde Towne Tavern is one of the places we have on the potential ECF gathering spots map. Thanks for throwing in that link to the pictures of the previous GA vapers meet. Looks like it was fun! Hope we see you at the upcoming get together. :toast:
mjt - You can also take the tank caps off to fill them up. After the initial fill you can then use a syringe to fill through the hole or just pop the cap off to fill if you don't have a syringe to use.
I don't fill the tanks completely full. I fill them about 80-90%. I got some suggestions for...
I just drip some small drops right on the spike from the bottle. It will form a little bubble of juice and after 10-15 seconds or so it will just wick into the spike and down into the atty.
I posted some cleaning tips for the C atty earlier in this thread and just now in another thread.
And...
I had some issues with this initially when I got my C with all VG juice. I started priming the spike with small drops of liquid between tank changes and refills. This seems to solve the issue.
I also had to adjust my draw and vape rate. I take longer puffs now (4-5 seconds) using less draw...
RedRoman - Might want to try priming the atty a bit. I do this in between tank changes/refills as well. I just drop small amounts of juice right on the spike and let it wick in. Doesn't take much. Just let the juice wick down in the spike with a few small drops, put it all back together and try...
Riffy - I have not used the Go-Go but I did use cartomizers on my standard ego setup. I had issues since I vape 100% VG almost exclusively. The cartos were drying out too quickly and I burned a few up getting some nasty burnt puffs along the way. I ordered some Boge LR cartos and had the same...
I use the tank and switch between the SR and LR atty. Boba's is a thick juice but this is something I am used to since I pretty much vape 100% VG all the time. I hear you can thin the juice a bit with a drop or two of distilled water but I really haven't found the need to do this with my C and...
A delicious and well crafted juice from Virgin Vapor!
Organic Hot Buttered Rum 9mg VG - Virgin Vapor
From the Virgin Vapor Website:
My wife and I are fighting over this juice! Vaping this on my eGo-C 3.5v with a LR 1.8 ohm atty. Vapor production is very good on the LR atty with nice...
